Troy Parrott, 22-year-old homegrown striker, is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have made a decision over Troy Parrott’s future, according a report from Football Insider.

If they get a good offer during the summer transfer window, the North London team are prepared to cash in on the 22-year-old.

Parrott joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2017, and he has advanced quickly through the ranks.

Although the Irish international earned his first-team debut in 2019, he was never able to establish himself as a regular member of the starting lineup.

He has only made four appearances for their senior team. Despite being formally promoted to their first team squad in the summer of last year, Ange Postecoglou’s plans did not include him, and they ultimately sent him out on yet another loan.

The striker joined Dutch team Excelsior on a season long loan. The Irish forward didn’t exactly get off to the finest start in the 2023–24 campaign, but he did ultimately found his feet.

He has made appearances in 21 league games and has helped with his contribution in ten goals.

Due to his success, Parrott rose to the position of first choice for them; however, a hamstring injury sustained in March cut short his happy ending.

Parrott will rejoin his parent team in the summer, but he might not be able to find a spot in that team.

They have been linked to several elite attackers from around Europe and are searching for a more established striker.

Spurs are thus prepared to cash in on the youngster if they get a good offer.

The forthcoming window will be the biggest opportunity for the North London club to generate a sizable quantity of money from his departure, since his contract expires in the summer of 2025.

His performances for the Dutch club have attracted attention. Some of the clubs in Germany would love to have the opportunity to sign him.

Spurs are prepared to sell, but they won’t act unless they get an offer that fulfills their criteria.
