West Ham eyeing stunning move for striker with 21 goals & 7 assists

West Ham are preparing for the upcoming transfer window and are actively pursuing a striker to strengthen their squad.

The Hammers are reportedly considering a move for Canadian centre-forward Jonathan David.

According to journalist Graeme Bailey of HITC, West Ham hold a strong interest in David as they seek replacements for Michail Antonio.

The report claims that the striker is attracting interest from a number of other Premier League clubs as well, including Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.

The potential move comes as Antonio has faced challenges with form and injuries this season.

The Jamaican striker has been sidelined with a knee injury since November, causing him to miss 23 games for the club.

With Antonio approaching 34 years old at the end of the month, David Moyes is reportedly seeking a replacement, with Jonathan David one of the names featuring prominently on their wishlist.

David has enjoyed an impressive season, tallying 21 goals and 7 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions for Lille.

With an impressive tally of 116 senior goals in his career, the forward is drawing interest from several English clubs.

Whether West Ham can compete with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham to secure his services remains to be seen.
