£17m playmaker offered to West Ham United for summer transfer

It’s no secret — West Ham need to sign a new attacker once the summer transfer window opens at the end of the season.

Pablo Fornals was allowed to leave for Real Betis permanently in January, with Said Benrahma also joining Lyon on loan. The Hammers sanctioned both deals but failed to bring in any replacements.

Consequently, now in need of at least one first-team replacement to help fill the void and ease the demands on the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Mohamed Kudus, David Moyes, according to recent reports, has been offered the chance to sign Stuttgart’s Chris Fuhrich.

Sky Sports Germany claim the 26-year-old is valued at around £21 million but has been offered to the Hammers for a discounted price of just £17 million.

Whether or not the Hammers accept Stuttgart’s proposal remains to be seen but having scored seven Bundesliga goals already this season, there are certainly worse options out there.
