Harry Maguire’s future at Man United isn’t linked with Matthijs de Ligt

Matthijs de Ligt will wait to understand who’s gonna be the new manager at Bayern Munich before deciding anything regarding his future.

Everything is open with Tuchel leaving so it’s very quiet now. There have been rumours about Barcelona and Man United but nothing is serious or concrete with any clubs in Spain or England yet.

Many clubs are attentive to his situation but nothing else.

Matthijs de Ligt

Sticking with United, from Harry Maguire’s point of view, it’s always been the same in the last year.

The club are open to important proposals… or they’re happy with him staying. They’re not desperate to sell Maguire.

Also in this case, we have to wait for a new director to arrive, and then Man United will decide how to proceed regarding many players.

Luis Enrique is looking forward to the new season at PSG

When Luis Enrique spoke about PSG’s plans for next season, he was just being confident, it wasn’t a knock to Kylian Mbappé or anyone else.

The French club will be bringing in some important talents which can help them to have a balanced squad next season.

The plan is clear: one important defender, one important midfielder and one important offensive player.

At least three important signings have been planned plus a new deal for Zaire Emery.

But, in terms of names, way too early.

No Liverpool transfers until new strategy is decided upon; final attempt for Michael Edwards

There’s lots of talk about possible transfers at Liverpool, but I’d not link Mo Salah’s situation to Luis Diaz, honestly.

Also in general, for Liverpool, with no director and no new manager yet, it’s absolutely not true that they are making concrete strategies on any player or any exit.

A new director is the priority, then a new manager and then an agreed strategy on players.

Nothing is happening right now.

Liverpool will make one final attempt to persuade and convince Michael Edwards to return to the club. FSG, the owners of Liverpool, have already tried but he said no because he is very happy with what he’s doing right now.

So at the moment nothing concrete, but Liverpool will try again and it’s going to be the final attempt. Otherwise they will move on in March.

They want to find a new person to run the football club and then to appoint a new director of football.

The Liverpool board structure will change and as soon as they have this structure in place, they will move onto the new manager.

Arsenal have watched Viktor Gyokeres multiple times

Although there are many clubs that are attentive to Viktor Gyokeres at the moment, none have made a move as yet, nothing is happening now. It’s one for the summer.

His conditions are that he has a €100m release clause then we will see what happens in the summer – but we know how difficult is to negotiate with Portuguese clubs.

Many clubs have also sent their scouts to watch him, Arsenal for sure multiple times – but also others are closely monitoring the situation.

Tottenham and United attentive to Roony Bardghji

Roony Bardghji, who many of you probably remember because he scored a very important goal against Manchester United for Copenhagen in the Champions League, is not playing for the Danish side at the moment. Zero minutes.

Many people are asking why because we know that there are many important clubs following this boy. So, why is he not playing?

According to my information it’s because the player has no intention of signing a new deal at Copenhagen. This is the situation as of now, his current contract expires in December 2025.

So it means that if nothing changes in the summer, he will be available with 18 months left on his contract.

Already clubs like Tottenham for sure, but also Manchester United and Barcelona, have sent scouts multiple times to follow the player’s progress.

Saudis still want Kevin De Bruyne

Kevin De Bruyne is always getting better and we’ve heard many stories about Saudi.

From what I’m hearing guys, last summer even before the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter in Istanbul, Saudi Arabian clubs sent intermediaries to negotiate with Kevin De Bruyne and to make a proposal.

But in that moment, in June of last year, De Bruyne had no interest and wanted to stay at Man City.

Saudi clubs still want him and they will try again.

Kevin De Bruyne

We’ll have to see the reaction on the player side this time because Kevin at the moment is not negotiating with any club – he wants to do something special again with City in the second half of the season.

Then we will see in the summer what they will offer from Saudi.

So it’s going to be a discussion first of all with Man City regarding his current contract, if they want to extend that or not, then it’s going to be time to understand what’s going to happen. We will see.

Official statements soon on the Pogba situation

Guys, I’ve had a lot of questions on this but honestly, I have absolutely no idea as I’m not covering doping stuff or bans – only official statements. Juventus will clarify the situation with an official statement as soon as they have it, the same on the player side regarding the appeal.

We just have to wait on this one. The feeling in Italy at the moment is that it’s a pity for Juve as they strongly wanted Pogba’s return and they also invested big money on his salary.
