West Ham fans already leaving London Stadium as Arsenal cruise to 4-0 half time lead

West Ham United supporters already seem to be deserting the London Stadium after witnessing a first half blitzing of their side by Arsenal this afternoon.

The Gunners have blown David Moyes’ side away in the opening 45 minutes, going in at the break with a comfortable 4-0 lead after goals from William Saliba, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Magalhaes and Leandro Trossard.

As the image above shows, it’s clear plenty of Hammers fans have seen enough and are already making their way home after a miserable start to their afternoon.

It seems unlikely that there’s any chance of a comeback here, though of course you can never say never in football.

West Ham are being thrashed by Arsenal so far

Arsenal will know that all too well, having famously blown a 4-0 half time lead to draw 4-4 away to Newcastle back in the 2010/11 season, while they also won 7-5 away to Reading in a crazy League Cup tie when they were 4-0 down, though they’d reduced that to 4-1 just before half time that day.

Something miraculous would have to happen for West Ham to snatch a point here, but if they do, these fans will certainly regret not showing more faith!
