Fabrizio Romano provides exciting update on two Liverpool transfer targets

Liverpool are reportedly making Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount one of their priorities for the summer, whilst also advancing on a deal for Brighton star Alexis Mac Allister.

The Reds look in need of a major reshuffle in midfield this summer after a disappointing season which looks set to see them miss out on a place in the top four.

It’s been officially announced that midfield trio James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be leaving Anfield at the end of the season, so it makes sense that multiple midfield signings now seem to be on the club’s agenda.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano provided an update on the situation, with Mount and Mac Allister both said to be priorities for Liverpool.

Still, Romano added that incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to keep the England international, so that could complicate things, while he also surely won’t come cheap.

Liverpool would do very well, however, if they could sign these two proven Premier League players to strengthen the main area of weakness in their squad.

  1. Why not go to South America and get young players with great potentials. Look at Brighton hove Albion just take a look at their players most of the players are from different parts of South America. eg Enciso, moises. Caicedo. Alexis Mac Allister and others. Our scouts are not doing enough. All this mention where signed very cheap please L F C should stop wasting funds to buy players from rivals

  2. You are liverpool no brighton which means that you need to look for the next season goals immediately and no for the future.ofc all teams have in mind to buy some young prospects but having so weak midfield you must look to strengthen the current starting lineup with experienced players if you want to finish top 4 next season (liverpool will always look to fight for premier league every season). You buy 2-3 solid midfielders with experience but no old ones(23-26age) one good center back and you are ok.Then you can buy those prospects that you said.Remeber that liverpool has already ellliott(20),carvalho(20),bajcetic(18)curtis(22) all of them have played a couple of games this season.Nunez also is 23 and especially for a striker, can develop a lot.Gakpo(24).So in terms of age with the players leaving you are more than good.
