Arsenal could sell 21 y/o ace for as much as £30 million this summer

Arsenal could make around £30 million for striker Folarin Balogun, who’s currently on loan with French side Stade de Reims.

According to The Mirror, that’s the fee they could get with Serie A outfit AC Milan interested in the 21-year-old.

The forward has 19 goals and three assists for Reims in Ligue 1, playing a total of 34 league matches thus far.

That’s certainly a fantastic return for a player who’s still in the infancy of his career, you suspect he will only get better and better.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry raved about the player last year, stating that he was “happy” that he’s now starting to score goals on a regular basis, as quoted by The Sun.

Balogun himself might feel he can get consistent first-team opportunities elsewhere after a successful campaign in France.

With both Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah at manager Mikel Arteta’s disposal, he could find minutes hard to come by with the Gunners.

In our view, he’s certainly got a lot more promise than Nketiah. However, whether he would want to play second-fiddle to Jesus remains to be seen.

  1. No l don’t believe that Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah are above Folarin Balogun in the striking positions well Folarin Balogun may be an amateur striker then but not now again one thing you must know French players have excel in the striking area for a long time and I believe if Folarin Balogun play together with Gabriel Jesus he will score many goals but all the same if Arsenal want to sell him that is there concern but they must make sure they bought a striker better than him everyone knows that Gabriel Jesus is not a top 9 but a top player they can still make another experiment by sending Eddie Nketiah to French football and see how he fair there just only six months and Balogun for six months in Arsenal then anything can happen in January Arteta must remember we are going to play champion league we really need about 3 good defenders a good top 9 two good defensive mild field players another good goal keeper that is good in stopping penalties while Ramsdale is good in open playing football he is not good in stopping penalties in short in every department of the team cause I believe if we signed quality players Arteta will bring out of them no doubt about that

  2. If Arsenal sell balogun, they will live to regret, and rue that decision. Balogun is a generational talent. He knows when to hold up the ball, when to pass, and when to strike. He also scores different kinds of goals. A superstar in the making. Technically, and physically, he is superb, with pace and height. He needs to come back for a season and given ample gametime, before any decisions are made.
