Meet the Spurs fan who kicked Aaron Ramsdale [image]

Full-time at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium saw one supporter lose their mind and probably the ability to attend future games. The ‘fan’ clambered over the advertising hoarding and managed to get a kick into the Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsey’s back.

Quite how anyone in an arena packed with CCTV, broadcaster cameras, dozens of photographers, and thousands of people with smartphones would seek to do anything so daft is beyond me.

After the kick, the fan scrambled back into the block and scuttled away head down. One would imagine he will spend the rest of the weekend helping the police with their enquiries.

    1. Irresponsible behaviour. No excuse. Deserves to be banned. And prosecuted. Gives football a bad name. No one likes bad losers. Richarlisson needs a fine and suspended for a few matches for his actions. No excuse. Tottenham should be fined and warned by F A. By fan and player actions.

  1. Silly boy. The way he tried to kick him, I thought he was a bird. Sadly, he’ll e,nd up doing bird for it. Silly boy.

  2. For me Richarlason ignites the blue touchpaper and is as much to blame as the moronic thug who kicks Ramsdale.

    1. Think Richarlason, did over react, but Ramsdale not squeaky clean with his badge kissing winding up, don’t condone pillock from the crowd and not a supporter of either team, but now is the time to nip it all in the bud, before serious injury occurs.

  3. I was at the game and behind that goal,There’s no excuse for the fan but it was incitement by Ramsdale what he did and the fa should look into that

    1. Incitement for what, kissing the badge & celebrating after Spurs fans behind the goal giving him pelters for 45 mins of the game, in fairness it’s the most trouble he had all game but wind your neck in. If you can’t take it don’t try diss it out!

      1. Ramsdale does have to be held to a higher standard, he is a professional footballer, to actively be a knob to a crowd of fans in a derby like this, he’s lucky only one moron went for him, If he did this at the London stadium the Moron to Fan variables are much higher, he might have seen a few more kicks coming his way
Perhaps we should be applauding Daniel Levy’s alcohol prices reducing alcoholism within the ground. >.> 9 quid for a cider. Thanks Danny

    2. The Tottenham fan should be banned, no question about that. But Ramsdale learnt a very valuable lesson today, if you stick your nose into a beehive then you will get much more than a nostril full of honey! He’s a great keeper but needs to learn more about being a professional footballer.

  4. What was Ramsdale doing there? Chris is spot on. And Ramsdale was taunting Richarlison earlier. No room for this in football.

  5. There is a recent history of anti-Spurs bigotry from Arsenal goalkeepers. Wojciech Szczesny was notorious for his hostility to Spurs which he continued long after he left Arsenal. My experience has been that such attitudes are far more common from the ‘Highbury’ crowd than the other way around. And of course it is not possible to ignore the anti-semitism evident on the part of too many Arsenal (and Chelsea) fans. Doesn’t justify what happened today, just helps explain it…..

  6. Football is a beautiful game, but too many supporters think its more than that. Its not the source of your identity. ITS A GAME!

    1. Shut up about equality crap ya snowflake not everyone is the same not everyone can be the same so u can’t treat everyone the same how many off u pass the homeless n help out not many how many of u welcome smackheeds into ur house now so shut up about equality ya cretin

  7. What that gives him the right to to kick ramsdale spurs should b fined and the scumbag should never b allowed to go to any match and his season ticket should b given to someone who deserves it

  8. Not good at all what if he had a weapon. And did something bad to the Arsenal goalkeeper should be banned for life going to any ground. What a twat he was don’t want the fences going back up stewards were rather slow shouldn’t been aloud anywhere near the pitch the so called fan
