Arsenal will need to pay massive fee to bring Mudryk alternative to the Emirates from Spain

A report out of Barcelona has stated that Arsenal will need to part ways with €100m in order to bring Raphinha to the Emirates this January.

Mikel Arteta missed out on the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk during this window after Chelsea hijacked the Gunners’ deal on Saturday and the Blues have confirmed the €100m deal on Sunday.

Arsenal will now need to look elsewhere for a winger and it seems that Arteta is looking at a past target in Raphinha to bring to the club in order to strengthen his squad for the Gunners’ title challenge.

According to Barcelona outlet Sport, the Catalan side have put a €100m price tag on the Brazilian and it remains to be seen if the Premier League club would be willing to pay that fee.

Arsenal tried to sign Raphinha from Leeds last summer, according to The Athletic, but Barcelona ended up winning the race for the Brazilian star.

The 26-year-old has not set the world on fire in Spain and it seems that the La Liga giants are open to letting the winger leave once they receive €100m for him.
