The Norway international is one of the most exciting players in world football right now, having scored a remarkable 27 goals in 21 games in all competitions so far this season.
Real Madrid would do well to land a Galactico of this calibre, while reports suggest another top target for the near future will be Bayern Munich wide-man Alphonso Davies.
Haaland has only just arrived in the Premier League, but if this particular piece of transfer gossip proves to be accurate, it may be that he won’t actually be here that long.
Madrid have also been linked with Kylian Mbappe in the past, but were rejected by the France international last summer, so Haaland may now be their priority.
The 22-year-old looks ideal to finally give Los Blancos a long-term successor to Cristiano Ronaldo, who was arguably never adequately replaced since his departure in 2018.
